Perception v. Reality

Do you know what your employees want, or do you just think you know?

“Leaders have been sitting in rooms and coming up with strategies and initiatives without necessarily listening to the voice of their people”

The top three employee expectations are currently ‘working with good people,’ ‘being paid fairly for the work’ and ‘having a role that respects work-life balance.’

As we begin to enter the post-pandemic marketplace, there needs to be a shift away from a top-down leadership style and a greater emphasis on ‘bottom-up communication’ to keep our workforce engaged. This is especially relevant in today’s talent short market where companies are battling to attract and retain employees.
